Believe it or not he does that when he sees me with my phone out. He likes to appear lazy in pictures? He took all that brush out and chipped it in two trips with the mini.

Went to work. Did my thing. Had a slight disagreement on the second job. I had the guys do maintenance and I went home. Stomache has been acting up. Not keeping food down today. Grilled up some burgers and fried some green tomatoes for the family. I’m being cautious of eating at the moment. So I cooked and canned up another 6 quarts of pasta sauce. No secret recipe. Just ms.wages sauce mix

Problem with owning equipment that is efficient is it becomes addictive. I now want a crane. Might even skip that and get a tree mec. Either one is a ways off but the thought is definitely present

Not really a work pic but close enough and I have to clean it up I personally used this saw 22 years ago removing a silver maple for a neighbor. He recently gave me the saw because he said I might be one of the few that would appreciate it. Iím going to clean it up and put it on a shelf in my garage as decoration. How many others here can say theyíve used one of these? I know there are a few

That sucks Mick. Not sure how it works there but where I live, I’m responsible for my critters if they cross property lines or into public areas. Hell, even if they’re on my property and someone trespasses, it’s a hell of a fight to not hold me responsible

Thatís a nice looking truck I can only guess it was owned by a small company. To nice to have come off of line clearance. Mine is a 2000 with the dt466 and the terex xt55. The altecs are faster but the lack of grease fittings bothers me. Nylon bushings instead of grease. I canít speak for the new terex booms either. I might take a drive Friday to check them out though. Custom one ( I think thatís the name) just opened a shop on the opposite side of the county from me. Mine is due for its annual soon. Iíve been good since I bought it. Iím kind of expecting to be dropping some money this time:whine:

Personal job, and on Saturday. Sunday’s are off limits for working to me except at my place. Tomorrow is mow the lawn, making and canning pasta sauce, and hanging out with the kids.

Only two jobs today. First was a really dead ash( first three pics). I was pretty close on reach with that one. Very profitable job. The last pic was another dead ash, but much more stable. This was on a property that we are doing in phases. Most hazardous came out first. Only three left to deal with and then on to more problematic trees there. I then made the mistake of stopping at the neighborís on my way home. At 11:30 pm I finally made it in my house.

I was supposed to work a half day today. Ended up with 7 hours. No big deal. My tracks for the mini arrived ( thank you for recommending summit tracks flushcut and CV, had them in two days and a hundred bucks more than Vermeer wanted for one track) and I was almost giddy. Then everything went to hell. Sat at the dmv for over an hour. Went to the bank and in the mix of having to much in my mind walked out without my cash. Got almost home before realizing it. Went back and it was handled with no problem. Returned home and realized I forgot to deposit a large check. Really not a big deal but still irritating. Cooked dinner and then replaced my tracks. Had to be an Olympic gymnast to make it “easy” but it got done. Watching the Emporer’s new groove with the heathens (I mean kids). Guess it wasn’t a bad day after all

Pretty cool Peter. When you say the rails need squeezed, is it causing chatter? Not as smooth of a cut?

I’ve tried it with a root rake grapple and have had mixed results. You’re better off kinda raking and then grappling rather than just scooping. Still seem to end up with some unwanted debri, but better than a regular bucket
