Looks just like the house I grew up in, except we had a verander. I'd go back, maybe.

I know, or knew, North Richmond pretty well. Did a lot of work up that way once, and Grose Valley is great.

Nah, more sand and sharks and too hard to build a wall around. Had a chance to get a mooring off the club I used to belong to once. https://www.dsc.org.au/the-club/club-history/ Pretty hard to get even then, late 80's, just about impossible now I reckon. Would have been nice but not practical at the time work wise. Sold my boat, second best day I'd had till then.

The unknown tree loppers stuck again. Pretty sure I know who would have done the second job, and probably this one. A woman on Sydney's north shore must pay $83,000 after she cut down two of her neighbour's trees for "dropping leaves in my pool". https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/north-shore-woman-fined-83-000-for-chopping-down-neighbour-s-trees-20180831-p500y9.html

Thanks, I found it. You've got no idea how many Tree Houses came up, they're all up the east coast here.

I don't really eat anything with wheat in it, just some wholemeal bread sometimes and a burger roll on Sundays. I've been making celery & carrot soup with onion and garlic with a few spices, it's pretty good this time of year. Use a stick blender as well with a bit of cream or yogurt Just a roo burger again tonight. Got a new cast iron frying pan to try out.

Cold.:coldcold: It's been a pretty good winter, days are sunny but pretty cool. Cold snap this week and a bit windy. Tried to snow a few nights ago but it's too dry. No rain for months now and looks like it'll be the driest year on record if we don't get some soon.

I've done heaps of those things, price was never enough no matter how much I charged. And they'll get you eventually no matter what, even if you've finished. They went on the "No more" list a few years ago. I used to have a few cops work with me on their days off, something I learnt from an old boss. Pays off sometimes. One was in the Riot Squad, pretty hard bloke. One day he threw a Canary Island palm frond under arm backwards and it caught him in the elbow and broke off. I pulled it out with a pair off pointy nose pliers. About the only time ever I've seen a well tanned person turn white.

It's about people invading other countries. And I know that's not the Danish flag, but pretty close.

A lot of fires here already and it's still winter, doesn't look good for summer. A firefighting helicopter crashed killing the pilot today. https://au.news.yahoo.com/helicopter-crashes-fighting-nsw-bushfires-killing-pilot-055906375.html

Well it's a few years late and I know you've moved Brian, but there is a way to get rid of them. The guy sounds like an Aussie and the secret weapon is from Canada. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CKdKEcO26po" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Forget the smokes, you should revise that design and make it for mobile phones. Linesmen, construction guys etc would like it as well. And going by what I've heard about those west coast hipsters if you called it The Loggers Companion you'd be one your way to your second million.

Yes we do mostly. That was no complaint about his price, I couldn't care what he charged. The dentist that said something similar though is another story.

First thing my surgeon said to me was "you guys make good money". His price for 15 minutes is $200, just talking not cutting.

My old boss had a contract clearing for sewer lines and we did a lot of blasting with gelignite. He was a great bloke but used to drink a bit, things got a bit wild after lunch. Quarter sticks went to half sticks, and half sticks went to full sticks sometimes. Not many people around in those days but I learned how to get out of the way pretty quick.

They're all crazy in my opinion. I remember waiting for Evel's canyon jump, big news back then. Only thing bigger that year was Ali's Rumble in the Jungle. (Not counting Nixon, Hearst and a few other things.) Bit of a letdown he didn't make it, but he put some effort into it. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2p1khN1xyBw" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> Better look at the jump site here, bit bigger than our old creek. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Pghl2U0wVIw" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
