I might check that one out. :/: I've seem the coal towns here, read about and seen videos about West Virginia. Also know a lot about the UK mining. All depressing. Just glad that era is over, it was a struggle that's for sure. That looks like a good show, but not for me. I've read about it, that's depressing enough.

97F in the shade when I finished about 2pm. Trimmed a few shrubs and a little pine for another old customer, first time I went there was early eighties. Not as far to the south west as Friday so actually saw a few Aussies. Lots of trees have gone though. Still a bit of work from the big storm a few weeks ago if I chased it up and had one other job and that was a Leylandii hedge, bad enough doing them on a good day and it's going to get hotter and hotter for the next 5 days so I think that'll do me this trip. Might play tourist until it cools off then head home. It's hot there as well, might break the record this week. Nearly got the coldest day there ever in July when I was down here last time, I always miss all the fun.

That's a good looking trailer Brian, hope you are happy with it. Finally decided to sell mine, had it for a long time and it's been a good one but haven't used it much since I gave up doing palms a few years ago. Galvanized so no rust. Selling it to the guy that used to work for me, from mid 80's. His wife nagged him to leave and go out by himself, that was ok, he still helped me when needed. Lasted about three years, then she nagged him to get a real job. That was ok, he got a job with the local council, full benefits and every second Monday off so he'd work with me and do side jobs on Saturday. Then she packed up and left after 35 years, so he had to remortgage his house to pay her off. So, looks like my trailer will live on doing tree work. And people wonder why you like being single.:drink:

Yeah, I don't think I'd bother. Merle has posted about Somantics a few times, I downloaded the videos a year back but haven't had time to get past lesson 1. http://essentialsomatics.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU72VWmPBKQUwYwhm5pATIg

Anyone remember Dave/thattreeguy he used to work in Humboldt county and had some good stories, like the one with the electric shock and his dog helping him get out.

Ha, I was just looking at those Logitech speakers. $156, https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/logitech-200-watt-speaker-system-black-z623-inlog3073 My tv sound isn't great with some British shows, (they talk a bit funny) and they have some good ones. So I was thinking of something to boost the sound a bit, then I remembered I had a set of Sennheiser RS120 cordless headphones stored away. They're pretty good and you can get a beer without missing anything. https://en-au.sennheiser.com/wireless-headphones-stereo-rf-rs-120-ii

I must have missed that. There was a guy selling horseshoe dogs on facebook yesterday, can't find it now. Had an old tin can as a head, don't think he would have sold too many.

I heard an interview with a famous ballerina once, can't remember who it was at the moment but could have been https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altynai_Asylmuratova She said "miss one day you don't notice, miss two days you notice, miss three days everyone notices" She might have stolen that quote, but it's pretty right. Got to keep doing something physical.

Blue-Green Algae. https://www.mdba.gov.au/managing-water/water-quality/blue-green-algae The rivers aren't running, partly because of the drought but mostly because of irrigation for things like big cotton farms taking the water.

Clint's got a new one out, he's 88 now. I first saw him in Rawhide when I was about 11, he sure has done some good movies since then. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/N_QksSzK7sI" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
