I would really like to try a 500i for the day, felling and limbing some timber.I cannot justify another saw currently as I have more than enough of them, the 441's have served us really well and provide the perfect sized saw for most of what we do.The 661 is perfect for the rest. In old money, what sized saw has the 500i replaced? The 064 for example or the 046?

They suck. Hate those chains. "Here's a pro saw for you with some Shit HO chain to cut with".

Touch the teeth and leave the rakers a couple times and it helps. Or have some Picco made for it.

I have the 201 TC. It was ok but not as responsive. I done the muffler mod and timing advance and it actually came alive. I'm close to saying I actually like it now. I just got my old 020T completely rebuilt so it's my main saw right now. I also have a 200T that the airbox tab went through the engine after about 8 tanks. New top end. It's sitting in the shop waiting to go. I'll definitely run the older ones as long as I can keep some on hand. I also have the Echo 355T. It's been a great saw. Used it for about 2 years intermittently. Never any trouble.

I'm actually on the verge of ordering the Husky. Haven't heard anything bad on the Stihl. I've just heard the Husky is the one to get so far. But I'm open to suggestions.

Yeah. They definitely let the air in. Wouldn't be any good in cooler weather.

Seems like We'll be cleaning up storm throws for a long time after all our winter storms hitting dead trees. This black oak was on a slope over a road. Guyed it off for our safety and to keep it in place. Up righted the stump to keep it on the better part of the slope so the property owner can burn it in place if they want. Finishing up a large gray pine up there today.

https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-performance-series-outdoor-cargo-pant-nw780 Found these by accident at Wal Mart. They are moisture wicking and fast drying. Got lucky and found one pair in my size. I'll keep a check for more. Only wore them a couple of times but very cool and comfortable. Stretchy waist. 2 zippered pockets below the front pockets and to the side a little. They work good for carrying a phone or other small items while wearing a harness. They're about $22. I just can't wear bluejeans in hot weather anymore. I can't bring myself to pay $200 for actual climbing pants and these seem to do pretty good.

YVW. We have had good luck with ours. We liked the stove set up and accessories. Hell, we use it for canning out doors when it's hot and I think Rob even rendered some beef fat from the neighbors steer they slaughtered not long ago. Handy bugger.

It's a Camp Chef 3 burner stove. Then he bought the griddle top and pizza stone for it. That way, you have the best of all worlds at camp. We fed our whole crew and custy at our logging camp with it.

Went trap shooting with my buddy's all weekend. Shot with the Merced county Sheriffs Saturday, and league on Sunday. I hope we stayed second in our division. Raised some money for kids shooting sports though :)

Yup. They are picking on F350s and 450s now with stock trailers and horse trailers. If it looks big enough to be a class A, pulled over. They just figure you are going out of state to sell, prove them wrong.

Kyle, who told you doing trees would be considered commerce? Go straight to the source, go to your local DMV. Ask them in person because like you said, every state is different. I don't have to mess with DOT with our trucks, as far as registering them, but you might. I mean, they can inspect them because they are commercial, but that is not a big deal. If everything is in order, you are on your way down the road, if not you probably don't want to be on the road. DMV will tell you about insurance requirements as well. Fuel tax? Never heard of it for our trucks unless it is rolled into getting a tag. Inspections, Florida does require that anymore, but like I said DOT can inspect when they want. Me thinks you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
