Check on Amazon. Not too bad. About 150.00 and change US$. The SMH10. Guessing that is what you had. Buying pairs saves a little and you have a back up.

No Stig. Our Pyrenees would not harm a soul, unless protecting kids or livestock. Funny how people are so leary or frightened of them for their size. But they are just big lovers. It was Daisy. Rot and cattle dog mix that was a rescue. We were seeing signs in her. Trying to work with her and the new pup calmed her down some. But the writing was on the wall. Nipped a walker down on the road.

Exactly. Just can't take the risk. Some dogs are just a liability. Definitely sux for wife and kids though. Just added stress for me. Booked through April and can't move on squat. Just on call getting house foundered and pinching pennies. Trouble with my environment is that it rarely freezes. All we have is slushy snow on red clay muddymuck. Heavy work, on hold till we can move equipment in and out. Bleagh

Hope it works out for her and your family Brett. 5 days of snow and rain. Started my day with my CCW renewal class in snowing cold. Instructor reminded us, it could be worse, like in Milwaukee. Came home and had to surrender a family dog to animal control for a biting incident. She'll be euthanized by the end of the week. :(

So this belongs to a local guy that uses it for work on his property. The winch is behind the license plate. Another pulley/fair lead goes into the receiver and/or the two brackets on the bumper. Winch line goes over the cab and over the top pulley and down to the bottom front of the insert. Spool and dump. He says he can haul and dump about 1/2 yard of rocks or dirt capacity. I mean, it is a Toyota for Pete's sake. Said it dumps fire wood pretty fair as well......

It's got a good bite for It's size. Seen Rob pinch the face of the butt and top of the log and it grab on pine. Not like it would be hard to put a tad bigger cylinder on it. But it'll do as is and take less welding to fix.

In progress Gary. HO does not live on property and the previous owners let it go. HO is doing the brush, we handle the tough trees. Has a ways to go to get the 100 feet needed. Spaced out trees ok, brush is not.

Little last minute project we jumped into. Taken a lot of trees down on this place and had more storm throw in the last couple storms. HO worried about a Black oak I pruned some years ago and some head leaners. One oak was in decline by the wood shed and the new shop. SO we kilt em. Black oak made me sad. But check cashed. Just Rob and I, like old times. We used a guy line set up on the head leaners to rotate them to the road 90 out of favor and into the lay. Swing and lower using the mini to pull. Keep them from smacking the roof. Going to mill some of the black oak and a live oak for the HO. New saddle was comfy..... Fodder

Use it for everything Sean. SRT, Ddrt, pruning, TDs, bucket work. Good all around saddle. Got 5 years on the 3.1. The fall arrest suspenders were still good, so I had the new connector straps (spares) put back. Good to go.:)

    Hey Willie:

Inbred people struggle with technology in general, and I can't figure out how to post stuff so that everyone can view it, so...unfortunately the burden lies on you to come up with an answer. Does a Humboldt minimize the slam factor as opposed to a conventional? For some reason, I have it in my head that because of the mechanical action of the Humboldt, there is more pressure generated on the stump than in a Conventional notch. Am I wrong? What would Jerry say, etc.?

How's the new baby doin'? How are you? I miss you.

    Jed
