Brian, I had to laugh, you could probably design one from scratch that would be perfect!! I'm sure they have great designers, but the man that uses one knows what it needs! And, why are trailer lights always, always a problem? lol

Dude. Good job on the dirt bike. It's gonna up your street skills by 1000. A whole new respect for traction and momentum... Plan to eat shit...wear yur gear. You're stoked. Electric ural looks rad.

The higher pulling point should have easily tipped the tree into the lay. A little deeper on the face, a little skinnier on the hinge, back cut a little lower and pulling point higher and you wouldn't have needed the truck. That said, I would have likely pole sawed a few branches off the back side and if it was pulling hard, I would have gutted the hinge rather than cutting it off. The higher the pull rope the easier to "tip" the tree. The lower the line, the more you're trying to pull the butt forward off the stump and the less "tipping" action.

You got that right. Che, so good to read you. I miss the updates on the kids and the cows. So glad you posted, Bermy and I would love the girl power to stick around. How are your children these days? What are they up to? PM me or take the answers to another thread, don't want to derail this one.

You have been to Ethiopia? Along with coffee beans, they mine all types of gemstones. Opal and Emerald some of the best. Did you get wind of any gemstones?

Thank you for the update. I wasn't looking forward to it but know we are here for you. No Bivy, what is "tube town"? Please, ask what type of help is available to you. I mean in terms of volunteers to help with changing sheets, stuff like that. You will be surprised at the willingness of people that want to help. Don't let the word Hospice scare you, seek what they can offer. You will be amazed at what they can do for you. Google Advance Health Care Directive for LA, it will basically be a form you fill out that directs the doctors what you want and what you don't. . You then would turn that into the VA. Maybe even give a copy to DOC. The VA may even have the form. Pretty sure is will be specific for LA.

I just buy crane slings at the local rigging shop, cheap enough really. But I do love the adjustable chain slings Paul Cox recommended to me!
