Our range balls go for 80 cents each right now. Filled a couple 5 gallon buckets in about 3 hours today. Somewhere around 7-800 of them. We sell used course balls back to customers all year

Spent the afternoon in boots, slogging around in a flooded woods full of thorn bushes recovering golf balls. got about 2/3rds done and figured I'd better quit...4pm is about hunting time for the bow hunters and I was on conservation club property that is next to our driving range.

Direct line mix to recorder. I used to use that as one stereo track and then also record individual live (via speaker) tracks when recording bands. this gave the ability to manipulate how "live" or "clean" each thing sounded for the final mix for a demo.

I've never understood the zombie fascination. Just finished watching the 150th episode (5 seasons) of Dirilis: Ertugrul Story is based on the beginnings of the building of the Ottoman Empire Not the huge amount of money put into it that the US films have (slow-mo is about the only effect you see), but some fair actors and stories. Lots of horse riding & sword "fighting"

She's never seen me before today. They have very screwed up record keeping...I had to correct her on almost every item on my history. Back when I had my blood clot they gave me the hard sell on having chemical surgery...they admitted it would fail and I had about 60 percent chance of survival...I told them to stick it, and had to threaten getting out of bed to chase the guy out of my room...sent me a bill for over $800 for "consultation"...I sent them a letter stating I don't pay for "sales calls"... This place is always pushing to do more (max profit). Seems the more this place grows the worse they get...I'm considering changing to a different hospital/company or whatever...

Had my yearly physical this morning...Doc wants to set me up for a lung screening, I said OK, then she asks "If you have lung cancer would you like to have surgery?" I'm like "What? How should I know?"....thought she might be jumping the gun a bit...:banghead:

A Mom visits her son for dinner who lives with a girl roommate. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how pretty his roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more curious.... Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between him and his roommate than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, his son volunteered, “I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you,we are just roommates." About a week later, his roommate came to him saying, “Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver plate. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" He said ,"Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure." He sat down and wrote : Dear Mother: I'm not saying that you ‘did' take the silver plate from my house, I'm not saying that you ‘did not' take the silver plate But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner. Love, your son. Several days later, he received an email from his Mother which read: Dear Son: I'm not saying that you ‘do' sleep with your roommate, and I'm not saying that you ‘do not' sleep with her. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the silver plate by now, under her pillow… Love, Mom.

Sometimes...I'm trying out new types on both instruments. I think I like them both better than the old sets, but will see how they play & sound after they settle in a bit. I have another, slightly heavier new set for the mando...I'll run these for a while then switch & see which I like better. Mandolin strings are inexpensive enough to go through several sets before I reach the price of one set for the fiddle.

Well, got my place mowed finally yesterday. New strings on the mando & old fiddle…Guitar is in the shop getting the bridge glued back down and should get it back in a week or so…I’m ready for the snow to fly! Going to try again to get the tractor out onto the driving range this afternoon to pick balls and mow if possible…hoping it’s dry enough today.

No "scooped". Jimmy did mine with a dremel drum sander, and covered the rest of the instrument for dust, but this is essentially the same operation. https://musicvillageusa.com/blogs/gu...gerboard-scoop The "sweet spot" for most lead picking falls in the area that is lowered...gets rid of annoying clicks the pick can make when striking strings.
