I put in a couple of winters worth of that back in the late 70es. Learned how to do it right, which has served me well over the years. Truth be told, there isn't much in the way of treework that I won't do, if the price is right.

I did, sorry. It was the tail end of it that made logging impossible.

No, I was joking. People logged in the sun before sunscreen was invented and lived. I only use sunscreen when I kill giant Hogsweed.

The storm is supposed to blow over during the night. We should be good to go tomorrow.

We had a small storm pass over. Richard and I drove one and a half hours to start logging in a new forest, we've signed up with only to realize that since the stand we were supposed to cut was along the sea where the wind blew in from, no way could we fell anything and expect to survive. So we drove one and a half hours home again. Talk about a wasted day.

Dave used to get jobs in Humboldt because they could trust him and his guys to come in and cut around and within a grow. Did not see a thing and know nothing. Wink wink nod nod. Say no more. He seems to be doing well. Got his bucket truck back and is busy with it in Tucson. I had a guy that worked for me from the Humboldt area. He often asked for ti .me off about harvest time. Made better money.

The mail order bride lies naked in the green house in winter. Getting some sun rays is the best cure against winter depression. Some of them might visit solariums for the same reason. And a bunch of them migrates south.

Bullshit, Jim. Most of the nude folks are older peeps. For some reason the last generations seem to feel insecure about their bodies. https://ekstrabladet.dk/bibliotek/gallerier/nyheder/article3939272.ece

Jim, the Potatoes Dauphinoise were really fine. Too much liquid, though, but that was my fault. Once I had assembled everything, I thought the water level was a bit low, so I added some milk................mistake. I'll just have to try again. The mail order bride really went to town on it, so in that way, it was a success.

Maybe you can get there before I visit, and I can feel the difference for myself. It sure looks fine. I haven't given up on making it up your way, Jim. I try to make myself belive that it is merely postponed.

It is a Scandinavian tradition to either take a cold shower or jump in ice water after a sauna or hottub. Winter swimming has really taken off here the last decade. Therer are gruops of people all over the country who build saunas at the waters edge. I know several people who start their day by going down to Roskilde harbour, getting in the sauna and then jumping in the water. This being Denmark, all that is done naked, no matter what age you are. I'm too antisocial to get into that.
