I remember a science teacher in about 8th or 9th grade showing us some fun with a mix of corn starch and water... under impact or pressure its hard and resilient, with passive resistance, its soft and forgiving... :)

Yeah that's cool! The Mythbusters did that for a myth about ninjas supposedly being able to walk on water.

Those clowns tried about eveything .You can actually float a needle on water if you do not break the surface tension.Good bar room bet.
