I am considering to go through some arborist courses in Germany, but I have a few questions about medical examinations, first aid certificate, equipment, etc.
Does anyone have any experience with that? German tree worker around here, probably? :)
I'd really appreciate some help...

Well, let's hope, that the thread will draw his attention.
I don't want to be insolent, but maybe it'll be better to try with PM too... :dontknow:

Sorry about spacing out here!

I did it a while back so my info may be out dated. The SKT-A&B are needed plus a medical and 16hr erste hilfe. The first aid is easy to find just make sure it is the correct one - 8hr vs 16hr course.

Johannes Bilharz at Freeworker is very helpful (I got my SKT A&B from them) and there should be some decent online resources with the gartenbau berufsgenossenschaft, http://www.svlfg.de/ They are who I got my liability insurance from.

I left Germany at the end of 2006 so I may be out dated on my info.

Thank you :)
I'm going to try taking SKT-A or B this summer (if there isn't any requirement for time gap between the two levels). As soon as I have any results I will write here again. It's nice to know how exactly the things work out there!
