We spent the better part of a week down at Bandon two weeks ago, my first trip post hip replacement. Had great weather, and walking the beach a few times a day was good rehab for me. Great rental cabin overlooking the surf, good food and drink, and much pleasant time spent with M and Jdog.

Here's a few pictures to share:

You and Terri might consider spending a few days there sometime, Jerry. I know you could work some magic with the natural elements available to produce some magnificent images. If you ever think you might want to do so, I could steer you to nice lodgings and help you get the lay of the land in mind.

Thanks, B. A friend suggested the Whales Head for lodging just about Brookings. Especially nice restaurant and bar there he said.

I think Terri and I will try it out in the near future.

If you ever get down 199 between Crescent City and the border try out the Patrick's Creek Inn. Old place, nice setting and great bar and restaurant too.

That whole area is God's country. Such a beautiful place on earth.

i have forgotten which hip by now Burnham, but you really do have a lean in that 9th pic.:P

Seriously though, I am glad you are up and about enjoying life's true pleasures. I would really like to head that way in the future, even if only for a visit. Beautiful.

I'm heading to Brookings Saturday but the scenery I am looking for weighs in the 20-50 pound range and fights all the way to my net!
