Good link. I'm starting to experiment with splicing. It's not as scary as I used to think.

But, splicing double braid rope looks challenging.

Jamin, double braid is my favorite rope to splice. I first learned it from Brion Toss who you may have heard about. His directions are the easiest to understand.

I think 16 strand is alot easier, and more forgiving. I dont care much for double braid splicing. Although I havent climbed on 16 strand for many years now.

The fly was an interesting rope to splice.

I haven't climbed on 16 strand for quite awhile either. Pretty easy stuff to splice, but I just don't care for it.
