Bit of a spat going on over in New York with the Yankees. Veteran catcher, Jorge Posada, has been having a bad year, really the twilight of his career. He got moved to designated hitter, no defensive duties. His batting average is only .165, and he was dropped to ninth in the batting order. I doubt any team has a player doing daily duties with such a poor average. Consequently, he took himself out of the game after seeing himself batting in the pitcher's spot, causing a bit of a stink and a lot of media attention. The dude is only making 13 million a year, and feels he was mistreated. Subsequently he has apologized, sort of. Sports today

Greg, try to hold off your trashing a bit longer and conserve your energy, I understand that Derek Jeter's skills are starting to fade too. You sox fans can have a field day with that.
