I really like the 647 I picked up here. Only thing I noticed upon arrival it was very hard to start and wouldnt stay running at idle. Carb was totally set up wrong from the factory adjustments.
Went and reset the carb and she starts one pull warm now and 2-3 pulls cold start. Set it down and purrs all day now.
I havent had any problems with the AV springs (but I dont pull hard on them if pinched either) and no vibs felt in my hands.

I have two of them. They are good little saws with good power to weight ratios......but not a Stihl 200T so the 200T at twice the price is still worth it for production's sake. The 637 is a good saw for back up to a 200T or someone just getting started.

Years ago I had one of these saws. Seem to remember it feeling very fragile and had issues with the rear vibe mount. Sold it pretty quick , was nowhere near the saw as a 200t or a jonsered 2139t
