Rut Map

Hahahaha- I noticed that after I posted it up.
Maybe they don't have anyone in those areas giving reports? Seems silly to exclude that corner of the country.

I'm interested to know why parts of Texas are so far accelerated. Ive always know that deer are prolific in Texas, but why is the rut so far advanced?

Post rut already? Really?
 
Middle to early October here, if I remember right.
edit: That's Blacktail in the Coast Range, I don't know about the Sierra Nevada bucks. Which I think are Mule Deer. We hunted on land that belonged to relatives of high school friends of mine, and they stopped all hunting on their property when the rut started.
