I love this show, really well written and played. Favourite scenes anybody?

Love that show. Even have season one on DVD. Watched it again while in the hospital. I like the scene when Sheldon is doing the radio interview and Kripke fills the ventilation system with helium.

It used to follow "Two and Half Men" on Mondays but they are moving it to Thursdays. I liked having my two favorite shows back to back.

The canned laughter every 8-15 seconds gets a little monotonous. I don't need to be told when to funny.

I bought the first season on DVD last summer. I now have all 6 available seasons. I was watching season 2 last night. I can't get enough of it. There are too many great scenes to pick just one.

It isn't canned laughter fwiw, it's filmed in front of a live audience.

Yeah, you don't get it. They're groomed when to laugh and how to respond. There are audience cheerleaders who stand at intervals that will encourage what reactions to make. Not to mention the dozen or so giant red TelePromps cuing those emotions. Sadly, it's just how Hollywood works. And it does, but I don't like it.

Edit; forgot to mention, it's not done in front of a live audience "completely" and the end result has the laughter edited in. If it were done live, people would be sitting In those chairs for days for just one episode.

There was a really good "making of", don't know if you got it in the States but it went through the whole weekly filming schedule, can't be arsed to go through it all here but its worth a watch if you really want to know how they make it. It could kinda spoil some aspects of it for future viewing though.
