Hi all just got an idea that i thought id share, making a rope guide from a positioner.

Removing the adjuster piece of metal and replacing it with piece of wire stongerenough that it will not bend very close to the original postioner but since they cant be bought any more closest thing to it at the moment.

I was thinking of using stainless steel wire so it is much stronger and will stand up to removing it, and attach onto this a piece of dyneema for the retriever and a catch on the bottom of it, what would you all think???
regards jim

Making the positioner like the original positioner with just the wire instead of a metal plate on the part for loosening it off.

so attaching the retriever onto the wire by removing the grommet, but since they all have the steel plate instead of the wire using stainless steel wire and bending it to that same shape and use this to retrieve it.
