I'm tempted to buy this just for fun. Not many around here, a lot in Victoria.

It was the second saw I ever used, 125cc and heavy but it cut well. 8)

Is that a twin? A friend of mine has a couple of Solos. One is a 137cc, or thereabouts twin, and the other looks a lot like that one. I put pics up when I first joined the 'House, but I think they are gone. That does look like a beast.

Like I said I'm tempted but Surry Hills is in Sydney/City, I haven't been in there for years.

It used to be a brewery area. I didn't mind it then, now it's "chic & metro" http://www.surrey-hills.com.au/ :\: :\:

It went for $122, not me.

He said "good working condition" I sent him two messages asking if it started & ran, got no reply so took that as no. A pity really, I would have gone quite a bit higher.

Anyway I should be selling saws, not buying them. Those days were hard, but I liked it. At least I got to use one back then.

Don't ever remember drop starting it, I think the guy in the other video had it about right. :)

I have these... Nice saws, but a arm snapper as the earli ones had too small line wheels!

I have the 110cc version of the Twin, Gary..

:P:evil:

The saw posted first was missing air filter cover...
The are often gone.

There were several different Rex other than Rex and Super Rex.

The older is with metallic blue color and first ones had a magnesium airfilter cover, the rest were red or blue plastic.
Big and small starters etc...
Diffrent names too like Rex, Super Rex, Rex 125, 125 etc...

This is the first series produced saw with plastic fuel tank.
