Shy Trees

That is cool! I get quite a few requests from homeowners to cut back their trees because they're starting to touch one another. Maybe I'll start recommending that they plant these instead. :lol:
 
We have camphor trees here. I trimmed a couple but never took notice of that phenomenon before.
 
The Mimosa grew wild in the Nam and when you rubbed up against it the leaves would shrink and fold up,, making the plant look like shrub of sticks instead of leaves.
