Mr Bermy went fishing on Friday and caught these two...on the teaser, wondered why the boat slowed down! 20' behind the boat, Rappalla magnum lure. One was 45lbs the other 25.
Caught another yesterday, 20lb, but on the rod, 30lb test, no contest!
Been eating wahoo all weekend, today on the BBQ, fresh corn on the cob, potato salab, green salad, roast veggies and COLD heineken!

Just need a big enough tin to pack 'em in...55gal drum should do!

The flesh of the wahoo is delicate and white and regarded as very good in quality. This has created some demand for the wahoo as a premium priced commercial food fish. However, because of its solitary lifestyle, it is caught commercially only in the process with long-line fishery for tuna and dolphin (Mahi-mahi or dorado). Wherever found, it is a prized catch in sport fishing.
