Trade secrets, huh?

Looks very clean, did you use a dremel?

lol no not at all, yes i used a dremel with the wand and beleive it or not i used a oregon chain bit for most of it. i was so bummed that i deleted the final pics because i buffed the exhaust to almost a chrome like finish. and i already had it back together. i may do some intake work on it yet so i will retake the pics of the exhaust when i do and post em up.

Actually the abrasive for the "Dremel " type chain sharper doesn't work too badly .It loads up though with aluminum but the thing is longer than the average carbide cutter .It also goes through the chrome or hard nickle plating better than carbide .

It's questionable if it's really necessary to buff the finish to look like chrome.I've done it both ways .Fobs and rouge or just craytex for the finish .Either seems to do well .

Another tip,you can often better align the corners and profile of the port opening using a file prior to doing the finish .The file kind of acts like a plane in that it produces a more uniformly formed profile or at least for me it works better . On that though each person develops their own methods so whatever works best should be the one used .Kind of like skinning a cat, head first, tail first .The cat still gets skinned .;)
