Tree Octopus?

This is the strangest thing I've seen in years. Any of you PNWers familiar with this critter?

You can tell it's bogus because the sasquatch is fake. That's really my neighbor DeWayne, albeit with some of the grease scraped off and his haircut.
 
Chip. Stop lying. Everyone knows that wrist rockets hadn't been invented when you were a kid. Admit it, you used a sling and stone like David the son of Jesse.
 
Haha. This just made me remember: when I was really little my father told me in all seriousness that when he was a kid pillows had not yet been invented. Wide-eyed I asked what he had used to support his head when sleeping. Stones, of course!

OK, OK, I admit it... but I was hell with an atlatl. Tree octopi were a lot bigger back then.
