Since Phillip Craul's "Urban Soils in Landscape Design" is currently out of print, is there any other soils text out there that deals with the unique properties of the urban soil as well? I have seen several really good soils books, but the urban portion is only one page in length. I feel that we need something like Craul's book as a reference when we are working in the unique environment of the city.

thanks for any advice you can give. Bob

I havent read Urban's book yet, its on my wish list, but I have a soils book called "soil science, principles and practices" Third edition, R L Hausenbuiller. I find it laden with good info yet nothing in particular about 'urban' soils.

I cant do soil books, boring as a thing could be. I do enjoy a good speaker that knows soil
