I remember reading Hell's Angels when I was in the 8th grade. My dad found the paperback and threw it away.

Didn't you mention " Sometimes a great notion" the other day MB?
Ken kesey wrote the book the movie was made over.
Supposedly wrote the whole thing while flying on LSD. It is a really great book , one of my favourites, but you have to read it more than one time to really get it. It is so convoluted and works on several parrallel timeframes at once.
Maybe if one popped acid and read it, it would make perfect sense the first time around.
