These are taken just now right across the road.
I figured we would have some fun with the 9 mill.
Mostly im trying to learn to use my camera.
So i figured they would be better to critique if i added funny content.
And my smokin hot wife ;)
Number 1 is tiba and wifee.
Two is the boulder wife and the glock.
Three is the boulder problem.
Four is me posing it up.
Five is the area.

I needed more light on the subject and i cant get the blur out , why ?

Those pics are not "shite" as you said in the fall color thread, old chubby......

ha, if that's chubby, I reckon I better go work out!

You down to 11d with all that blubber?

Could ya send your wife's eligible sister out my way!!

What happens when you slip? Just slide down? Bouldering looks pretty fricking awesome! I wish there were boulders in Louisiana.

If the shots are blurry, I can't tell, at this low resolution.

Are you shooting at full rez? If so, that's the time to check the shot. You can home in on a section of the frame and really check for sharpness. Resizing is going to rob a fair bit of resolution as well.

lots of boulderers carry a crash pad...and use spotters.
"Hey, catch me, would ya!!?"

Back in my day, we just took our lumps. But I never did much bouldering. A lot of our small climbs were big enough to rope up and lead--or top rope.

We have lots of great rock climbing areas in Wa. Many are 2-10 pitches. Then there's the mountains. My best climb in the state was a Grade 5 on the North Face of Mt Stuart. Maybe 25 pitches, 5.9+

Jerry, you might like Stuart. I've heard it's the largest mass of exposed granite in the country.

here's a trip report I just found on the net. When we did it, we didn't do the Great Gendarme, which adds 3 5.10 pitches to the climb, making it a real winner.
