I got a vizir on my vertex....so far so good. I scored a pair of Stihl fire resistant, arc proof, high viz, 'government/council' chainsaw trousers for $190...marked down from over $400, size small, a girl just can't resist a sale.

I use those scrench holders and they are are too loose so I took a SS screw and used it to close up the slit a bit to hold it a bit tighter. Bailey's has them if anybody is looking.

Do high schools offer "shop" classes any more? I took electives in small engine repair, auto shop, and electronics. Even in grade school, we had wood shop and metal shop. Those basic classes and the skills acquired have served me well over the years.

I totally agree! Having gutted, skinned, plucked, and scaled many an animal over the years, I'd gladly pay someone else to do the dirty work.

That sucks! We had a slash and burn kind of day yesterday same for today. Lot clearing no chipping or fine raking, dump the tree two three cuts and to the burn pile.

Sad. I always fear that, living in this old-ass frame house. I'm sure it's outta code.

Heli loggers do it all the time. But there are no tops in the tree. The tops would catch so much wind it would probably double or triple the weight of the tree. I had a customer once that stopped me from leaning a ladder against the roof because of the "dents" in the yard due to the feet of the ladder. I told her that she probably wouldn't want the bucket truck and the tractor in her yard either. She had already been told what equipment we would be using. Older, wealthy lady in a very rich and fancy community. I won't even give estimates there anymore because most of the folks that live there are exactly the same. Can't be pleased and love to gripe.
