Yeah, I saw this, articulated loader is quicker across the ground, less damage and, let’s not forget, you’re sitting down all day! Don’t underestimate how great having a telescopic boom is as well. Murphy’s Bobcat is awesome but it’s a different league power wise. I like the look of those Gehl loaders you boys seem to use.

One more chemo treatment left, then we'll access the results. The pain in my lung has disappeared completely, which is cool.

Being able to park indoors and with a locked door is tremendous. Having the tools out of the elements at all time is fantastic too. I needed an 8ft bed only to be able to carry the three piece pole saw and have it covered.

And the word from Mick? I see Reon Rounds run his Avant and have been curious about them. His area of Wisco looks more flat, but for sure he has to deal with snow melt and rain. Plus, he stages out wood with 4 wheelers! Contrary to popular rumor, Kansas ain't flat, so we need the best (and least marring) on hills & mud. (I think people tried to describe Kansas and came up with "flat" instead of the more accurate "uninteresting" -- but we are fully in the Missouri river valley, with bluffs & hills all around.)

Glad your feeling as good as you can under the circumstances. I've often wondered about honey. It's supposed to be good for you. I have it twice a day in vinegar. But I think it's basically pure sugar.

I haven’t had a chance to talk with our local dealer yet Page but it sounds to me like your dealer is a moron.

So itís been a while since Iíve complained about my mini. This past season it has run great. No track problems, no sensor problems. I called my dealer to order more tracks just so I could have them on hand in case. The dealer tells me there is a recall and toro will pay for a whole new undercarriage. I said great and brought it into the shop. 3 days later I get it back and the thing runs awful. Slow, and no power. We stumble through the first job and I call the dealer to tell him. On the 2nd job it runs so terribly that I put in on the trailer and drive it to the dealer to exchange it for a loaner. When I get there the loaner machine(brand new out of the box) runs like shit. They give me and older wide track for the time being. They call later to say I put gas in the diesel. Then later they say it was just bad diesel. Then later they say there were wood chips in the fuel. They change filters and put new fuel in it and give it back. Itís running but still underpowered it has a hard time multitasking. Bogging down but not to the point of stalling. It also canít turn as well as it use to. To top it all off I got charged for the loaner and the filters and such. I saw the fuel. It was all diesel. I saw the wood chips. It was about a teaspoon in 10 gallons. Either way it ran great till I gave it to these guys and now it runs like shit. -end of rant

If you had to do it all over again, would you buy another service body? Can any of those toolboxes on it fit saws in them? A dedicated tool truck would be cool. Something that fits in the garage to skip the daily loading and unloading of tools.

For me a snowmobile is winter time freedom and security. Lots of other guys take them to the deep snow in the mountains. You can at least get to town for groceries if you have a snowmobile!

That sucks, Frans. Hoping it's over quickly and with minimal damages. You guys need a break. Got a few friends that are into the snowmobiles. Seems like a big investment for something to use 3 months max. Those guys get PISSED if one rides a quad down their pretty trails too. I'm thinking about hitting the liquor store and calling into work if there's a driving ban. Have to burn vacation time though. We are expected to be at work even if there's a driving ban, but in 12 years I've never seen anyone get in trouble for calling off during one.

We might get a foot. Supposed to be cold enough to be the light fluffy stuff though. Wind is going to blow it all over. Joys of winter. My oldest son is a snowmobiler and can't wait. I could do without myself.

Nah a track machine is best for wet ground or mud. Tires are nice for dry flat ground. I have run circles around a tire machine on hills and mud.
