Small back leaner pulled with truck by redirect. I tried a tall thin hinge. Should have axed out the face. The hinge split.
…because I brain farted and forgot to make my cuts parallel to the trunk/grain. It miiight have flexed a little more taller and thinner and properly cut. Lucky I used the truck vs. the winch for some @SeanKroll momentum!
Try putting your back cut below the notch on those hard back leaners. It keeps you from ripping it off the hinge.
