Tree Swing - Rope and Anchor Tie

That’s one thread I’ll never forget. Changed the way I work, not that I install rope swings you understand. Any sketchy tree where a client wants to save it or similar, I just say ‘it’s out or nothing’

    The Joke/Funny Pic/Video Thread

Bet he was finger blasting her all evening anyway. I doubt it ate him, they’re vegetarian.

Branch walking, how do you do it?

My nephew did that first time I saw him climb after college, swimming alongside an oak branch 12‘ diameter you could hang a car off. Yes it works, but on a daily basis on multiple branches it’s exhausting. In your scenario I don’t doubt it was the best/safest method I always say ‘if you can...

    Possible human remains? Or fertilizer?

I’m guessing with that sort of fire awareness his house burnt down with him in it.

I’m sort of teaching my groundy at the moment, and the return is a technique I feel is the simplest and best for all but insane long walks.

Branch walking, how do you do it?

I was looking at the other thread and not understanding a thing about 3 in 1s for branch walking redirects and all that. So I’ll explain how I do it how I get out and how I get back. If I have a reasonably long walk out, I never or almost never do that walking backwards letting the rope out...

Interesting, I’ve been in sales, some of it pretty tough cold calling. Some of the best ones were bereft of any sort of embarrassment, completely unaffected by repeated rejection, never saw it affect them.

Yeah, lot of people feel the need to ‘be‘ something or other, make them more interesting, at least to themselves.
