I've only recently read about arm chaps, but they kinda seem like a good idea... I guess ???
I've been outta the 'loop' on everyday production tree care for over two years, so new products slip under the radar.
Does anyone here use arm chaps ? To me, it seems like one more piece o' gear to haul around & try to discipline yourself to use ?
Would you use arm chaps ?

Nope, never even heard of them before. But it doesn't suprise me that they exist.

Yeah, Paul... What you said. The ad I saw was for one, and that makes sense.

do I use it? nope, not yet. I figure I would rather be conscious and skeered to maintain safe working practice than to get over confident in cut safe gear and lazy. but its a conversation piece at the least! :)

They have to wear them, and kevlar gloves, at work if you handle material.
They seem like a real POS to me!

Probably save more lives with kevlar collars than arm chaps... although leather gauntlets would be a kewl tree guy fashion statement.
