hope this is the right place to put this...

setting up a Simington 450 square grinder with no instructions is a bear.
anyways... finally got it close to duplicating Oregon factory grind angles.

what's the correct angle to grind wheel to? so far it's all been trial and error...

here's a few pic's .... hoping for a few tips on how to set up...

yup... it's a square chisel grinder.

trying to find out what's the proper angle to dress wheel to?

When I have in-depth chainsaw questions, I'll usually ask them at www.chainsawperformance.com . Good folks there, Ed and Russ run the joint. Lots of members there that run square ground chain and own square grinders.
