Are you sure it is variegated? It reminded me of a slide show I saw at school showing some kind of deficiency, I just can't remember which.

Wow, I never considered that.

Unfortunately I have never seen the tree. Only the pics. This is all I have to go on.

Nick, do you know where it grows? It isnt familiar to me but if we can narrow the region down maybe we can figure it out?

but I'm not sure . If You have any better photos, or seeds photos it will be easier ..................
