I bet that guy got busted up pretty bad...headed straight down arms and face first, had to be a hard landing. Hate to see it.

Yep, same thing I thought.

I heard a good quote on CSI last night...the way to go fast is to go slow. Being in a hurry is how many accidents occur.

In a training environment like that there was probably an airbag below in case of such events.

The instructor should keep his trap shut. Yes, speed is of the essence in aerial rescue, but look what trying to rush the guy did. In a real like circumstance you would have had two major injuries, if not deaths.

If the guy wasn't rushed to cut the rope he probably would have done the rescue properly, maybe slow, but proper.

That kid on the pole had his rescue line rigged improperly to begin with.What happened was enevitable.

When that line hit his belt and pulled him into the pole he was bound to cut out. Who ever the instructor was was not doing his job.:what:
