Didn't got to work today, had a couple of places I wanted to apply at this morning, and it's just to hot to want to go in in the afternoon!!!!
A guy I used to work with moved to PA a yea ago, his daughter is still around and her horse trailer needed some welding done. I had the time, no biggie. So here I am welding this thing in my usual attire, t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. Well, you guessed it, the top of my feet got pepperd good!! The big one doesn't hurt near as bad as all the little ones!!!
Oh well, live and learn, or not:)

It is like the old saying you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. :)

But, Andy, you didn't say what the daughter looked like so we don't really know if the burn was worth it :-)

I welded a bunch of aluminum with no shirt on a while back. My chest peeled for a month it seemed. lesson learned.

Hell Andy that's nothing, I was a welder for a while, and did it in coveralls, issued by the company. Just a little past the half way mark of the day I'm doing an overhead weld, and a piece of slag burnt the tip of, well you know in front and just below the belt, ok my talleywacker! I had me a whole lot of fun there for about three days. But no matter how many burns I got all over my body it pales in comparison to a flash burn. Get well and man I hope this black cloud you have following your ass goes away soon.

I cannot confirm nor deny that I have welded with shorts and a t-shirt on. :/:

WOW!!!!!! WOW!!!! WOW!!!! Eighteen, 5' 2" 98#'s (maybe) and about 20#'s is on her chest!!!!
Ufortunatly, I didn't get to see her:cry:

No Gary, the t-shirt and shors wasn't the issue, it's the sandals, it's always the sandels!!!

Now I can, I can't believe I am sharing this, beat the burn on the tallywacker. It was REALLY cold, I was REALLY drunk, and REALLY had to pee. Been years ago. But go frostbite. That was bad, having sex the nest day, well that was worse!!!!!!

The feet were fine today, the big burn hurts a bit tonight, but made it through the day fine, even with my sweaty socks on!!!

Yep, it's official now!!! I are a moron!!!!
I brought home some work, we don't have a welder/etc., so I offered to do it at home.
Yup, 30 degrees outside, garage open, welding away, in my sandals!!
I go a few peppers, but not bad, the worst was when I went to pee around the side of the house, got snow stuck between my feet and sandals.
