Some people's avatars are disturbing, is there a 'blank' button so we don't have to see them...
Borat's crack is one...

Your thinking is far to simplistic. Life is a lot more complex than that. If what you said was true, countries with strong social welfare systems would collapse all the time. Last time I checked, the biggest capitalist economy in the world was looking distinctly wobbly.
Well all the countries mentioned, like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Austria, Australia, Canada, Netherlands, UK, have very strong social welfare state systems in place - And most of them are doing extremely well. Sure, you will always have freeloaders on the system. But they are a tiny fraction of a percent of most of these countries GDP.
The real freeloaders on the system are the massive corporations that get huge bailouts, subsidies, assistance and tax reliefs.

But seriously. I imagine that I am unlikely to change your mind on this. And as this is a serious derail, I'm not going to discuss it here any longer.

Let the discussion begin.......

dis·turb (d-stūrb)
tr.v. dis·turbed, dis·turb·ing, dis·turbs
1. To break up or destroy the tranquillity or settled state of: "Subterranean fires and deep unrest disturb the whole area" (Rachel Carson).
2. To trouble emotionally or mentally; upset.
3.
a. To interfere with; interrupt: noise that disturbed my sleep.
b. To intrude on; inconvenience: Constant calls disturbed her work.
4. To put out of order; disarrange.
[Middle English distourben, from Old French destourber, from Latin disturbre : Latin dis-, dis- + Latin turbre, to agitate (from turba, confusion, probably from Greek turb).]

I always examine the pot after a sit for portents of the future. I am starting my own school of divination, fecal prognostication. Omens of the future lurk in the dankest recesses.

My wife is always chiding me for being naked in front of the window with the curtains open. I tell her that until she wipes off the condensation, there is no concern....and even after. Women tend to worry about things like that for some reason.

Right now the noise level is in commercial form here. Lilly has been sent to bed, would not finish her dinner and did not get any ice cream... WHOA... I guess I am now aware of her opinion on that.

226,8Kg! :O
That is almost 1/4 ton, not bad! How many inces is that?
Hahaha

236.58824 milliliter = 2,36 deciliter = 0,2366 Liter = 0,0002366 cubic meters

Some itchy bug bit me on the neck and nose, big lumps. I can stop myself scratching but I think I'm going cross eyed.:wack:

We have an idiot living in proximity to my shop. Three of my tires were punctured when I went to drive home tonight. It has happened before and to some of the neighbors as well. Love to catch whoever it is, but it is difficult to do. The culprit works at night in the dark.

You could cut your nose off just to spite your face!
Then you wouldn't have to worry about hitting it.

I really like chainsaws!

Collecting, working on them, selling, the hole shabang! Wonderful things happen as soon as you start.
But you must pray to the saw gods... Yes Plural!
