its finally on wesspurs site... under used machinery
needs a lil tlc,
someone mechanically inclined
who welds
and does wiring
and front end work (only a little)
and has time on their hands
but hey its got a fresh interior
its a great truck otherwise
been sneaking around for a year now
fixing issues as i can
5 grand for a truck that needs some tlc isnt bad
ive seen worse for the price
just isnt a truck for california
willing to trade
need a stumper, grcs, dump trailer, or 4x4 diesel pickup that can run in ca

Good luck with the sale.

I'm gonna use that forestry bucket truck listed there as more bargaining with the insurance ravens up here.

Squish
keep in mind it hasnt been updated or certified in 10 or 11 yrs

no dot cert either
maybe $8,000.00 to $10,000.00? in repairs and service work
so after all that its a $35,000.00 rig
right?
what are the weight fees and taxes like on that unit, dmv fees and ins have gotta be a killer

i cant afford any of Lonny's diesels, but i might get one of his gas units
i'll know about the sbdc's final board meetings descision on my loan soon,
it made it up thru 3 different people so far...
congrats on the new rig

Lonnie won't sell a diesel in CA any more, unless it's a 2007 or newer engine.

Lonny the owner of Iron Technics Enterprises is a stand up guy to deal with. No salesman bs and genuinely interested in doing a deal up properly. For certain he's in it to make money, why else, but he went out of his way to answer all of my pestering questions and to make the deal as easy as possible for me. Extremely accessable and on the ball. After our deal he's followed up with me to make sure everything went well with my journey home with the truck and that I was satisfied with the condition of everything. Next time I buy anothe truck it'll be a easy decision on where to deal.

No. I'm going to risk it.:/:

Somehow I'm doubting I'll ever dump a load of chips again without the whole thing going through my mind.:(

BUMP, BUMP

I NEED TO SELL MY CHIP DUMP!!!!!!!!

I think Willie is good with electrical stuff, and he needs a spare chip truck for pulling his mini and dump trailer (or pull the dump trailer with the bucket truck). It's a whole lot easier to chip when the chipper isn't attached to the far end of the bucket truck.

Yeahbut. Gotta pay the bills, my goal was not to make any major purchases this year and my income is helping me meet that goal:dur:

I say that every year, but it never works out.

I thought this thread was a joke, telling everyone the truck is a POS, then asking them to buy it.

Good luck though!

Is someone taking a dump in the man cab?

im gonna have to non op it this next week , cant re register without smog cert.
It runs every day , i think i may have licked the wiring problem ( i keep saying i wont spend a penny more on it..but...)
For five grand its a good rig...just the smog thing....maybe if i get my big del norte project willy will trade me some boom work for it,
trading is always an option,

darn it all
That area north equipment co put my truck up on wesspurs site and now their phone number doesnt even work
when we called thru all the old numbers we got some guy who said everyones gone...no more sales or parts guys
wtf
they owe me a $2500.00 credit for this deal that went bad, and were gonna help sell the truck

sounds like they are going going and about gone out of business

and

the pto pump just went out

debating on turning it into a paper weight or a kids fort in the back yard,

no seriously i may have to fix it all the way thru so i can make it till next year

i got 8 grand into it, will take $6500.00

Jonseredbred
09-30-2009, 04:52 PM
how much for the pump??

thattreeguy
09-30-2009, 08:32 PM
$787.00
Rebiult the pump (seals and bearings),new fluid, Labor, and the shaft collar and set screw broke off, so they had to order it in, oh and they adjusted up the cables and greased the chit out of it so it works better.
Still think it was spendy, but thats what ya get behind the redwood curtain.
Im gonna have to up the selling price, its almost all fixed besides the smog stuff.
