If anyone is looking to get a bucket truck, I really think this truck is a steal.

$18,000 is easy money for this truck. I am thinking about buying it, I think it would be an easy flip for the $$

That's a 91. My blue one was an 89 and sold for $16K a year ago. Same working height plus material handler plus gobs of tool storage boxes. IMO there are lots of deals to be had in this economy if you have the money.

Here's a bunch of good deals on bucket trucks. I see they have that 1990 Ford with the old style cab and AM650 down to $10,500 now. They have been trying to sell that one for over a year.

No offense Brian, but there is a world of difference between that ALC truck and a utility truck when it comes to residential tree work.

I'm well aware of that. My material handler doubles the value of my truck. ;)

They are not too popular around here. Too heavy for our soil conditions up here, never get them in anywhere.

I wonder why it's so cheap. :/:

He's probably depreciated it down to nothing so it's no longer a tax writeoff, and he's probably replaced it with a newer, nicer truck. And summer is coming and it's miserable in a truck without AC.

Especially if you live in Florida! :P
