Beer Of The Month Club

My sister gave my Dad this for his birthday for the last couple of years. As I live near by, I get to sample some of them and even get a case from time to time of the darker beers my dad does not care for :D Don't know if any of you all have tried it, but it is pretty cool :)

I belonged to that about 10 years ago. I thought it was pretty good at the time, but in recent years there is quite a wide selection of beer available at the local supermarket or liquor store. It's a novel idea and makes a good gift, but it's kinda pricey for what you get.

I like that you can vary your plan, monthly, quarterly etc. I think my dad gets them every other month. I think my sister keeps him with more the domestics to keep the cost down. For us here in the sticks, buying a good beer off the norm is not really very possible unless you want to take a 45min to an hour ride.

In that case, it's worth it. There's also a wine of the month club, and I think coffee too. :|:
