this is the new comp wall at my local climbing centre. its a brute. you can just see my rope hanging from my first attempt. i've since got a few clips further.

Very nice. I can't see how someone can climb to the top when it's inverted like that.

I'm not as good as the guy who was climbing beside me the other night, i was on my big juggy route and he had topped out on the route with small pockets, he came down then passed me again the second time, when i gave up he started climbing on the other route on my line. the guy was climbing topless and you could see every muscle fiber. 13 out of the 16 strong british youth squad train here apparently.

If anyone comes over to edinburgh you should give it a go.
