Can't find one anywhere and I mean anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get my sweaty British mitts on one? Looks like this....

They had sold two others just recent that went for less money and had the light and all on them.... Guess they are a commodity now ;) Sign of the times man...

No problem, those 930s are a wicked semi-auto, I'd have no compaints paying $650 for one.

Cheap, efficient semi-auto shotty, thats all. Plus the fact I have Mossy 500 and can't fault it.

Ithaca 37 Is Robs choice. Said it was easier to clear a jam and pretty much bullet proof, pardon the pun. Now granted, we are talking a marine that shot a lot of diffy guns and worked in the armory for a time.

Um, the 37 is a pumpgun and as such jamming is nearly a non issue. Short stroking leaves the chamber empty, not jammed.
Not a bad gun by any means, and it's bottom eject can be an advantage.
For pump a Mossy, Remmy, Benelli, and Ithaca all make good guns. I like my Benellis best, for a "normal" gun. Otherwise the 870 gets the nod mainly because it's cheaper to find used and it's controlls are similar to the Novas.

So far I have no complaints about my Mossberg 535, albeit a pump shotgun.

Ithaca 37 here...bought it in the late 60's...it's been a reliable performer. I have the standard bbl plus a Deerslayer bbl for slugs.

I know mate, and there's no way I'm forking out over $800 for a $550 shotgun! Soooo, I bid on a FN SLP 12 gauge and got it for $799 (including shipping).....RESULT, considering I'm seeing them going for over $900. Will put some pics up when it arrives.

Picked it up today.......this is one kick ass self loading shotgun, can't wait to get some range/skeet busting time with this. Swap the chokes out and you got a great turkey/goose gun. Swap 'em again and you're good to go for deer with slug too.

Comes with sling swivels, red fibre optic front sight, optics/laser rail for bolt on extras, 2 chokes and 2 gas pistons to cater for different loads. Here's a couple of nutters enjoying their FN self loading police....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9mAEedYoGA

Here in America, we all have a 'permit'. It's called the Second Amendment to the Constitution. :what:

Is that all you have to do to shoot slugs? I have a 12 gauge - will it shoot slugs with the right choke?

James, yes and no.
yes youll need the right choke, but if you shot gun is a smooth bore, make sure to use rifled slugs.
Nice looking shotgun!

Thanks man, tis a sweet lookin shotgun indeed. Can't wait to let loose with it, you can lay down some serious fire power with that...:O
lumberjack

You can shoot slugs from most any shotgun, although full choke barrels should be avoided.

Still amuses me that you can walk into a gun shop here, say "I want one of those".....and after a swift background check (not a convicted felon and not mentally unstable) can walk out with pretty much anything you want (long guns that is). And NY is a notoriously 'unfriendly' gun state at that!
2+1 Ed? How about 8+1! :P

Thanks man, couldn't turn it down at that price. Hopefully get to the range over the next few weeks. Gotta love those American Express points!! ;) For the record it's a .308 Remington 700 P (police) 26" barrel (soon to be a 20" barrel) with a Bell & Carlson tactical stock, SS 16X42 scope, sling, Harris bipod. With the right ammo (175g), you can really 'reach out and touch'............

I'd stay at least 22", but that's just me. 20" barrels have a hard time reaching 1k. Arborworks1/my rifle is a 24". Farthest engaged target (man's silhouette) was 1117 yards.
