We had some long-time friends visiting last week, coming from Austin, TX. This was one of their fav things we did, a hike up to the top of Multnomah Falls and a site-seeing visit to Vista House.
love that place. anyone visiting portland should go see this, easily acessable

Remember those pics of the vista pruning I did in the Gorge that I put up a couple of years ago, then reposted after the crash that lost all TH attachments? Those were taken almost directly across from Multnomah Falls. The pic of the cliffy bluff on the other side of the river is where those were taken.
If you want to look back, here's a link. There are some really good pics in that Work Pictures thread, for sure.

Neither visit did we have time to ascend to the awesome bridge overlook.

That is one beautiful place. Hooked a nights sleep in the Dahls. Got rip in some local pub there. Forgot the name but do remember staggering to the motel across the street.
Quality time.
